Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Chairside Assistance:
Provide skilled assistance to the dentist during exams, treatments, and procedures.
Ensure patient comfort by explaining procedures and answering any questions.
Prepare tools, materials, and equipment needed for each procedure.
Preparation and Sterilization:
Set up and break down operatories before and after each patient.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas according to safety protocols.
Patient Care and Education:
Welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanor to ensure a positive experience.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
Administrative Support:
Accurately record and update patient health and treatment information in electronic dental records.
Assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, and handling patient inquiries as needed.
Maintain inventory of supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to the office\u2019s success.

Requirements:<\/p>\n
Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA, RDA, or equivalent preferred).
Current CPR\/BLS certification.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols.
