Job Summary<\/p>\n
Fresh International Market in Raleigh is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our store. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, hands-on, and interested in growing into a broader management position in retail operations.<\/p>\n
We are especially open to candidates who are looking for long-term growth opportunities in the U.S. and want to build real management experience in a fast-paced business environment. OPT sponsorship and future H-1B sponsorship are available for qualified candidates.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Support day-to-day store operations and help ensure the store runs smoothly
Assist with staff coordination, task delegation, and daily follow-up on execution
Help monitor merchandising, shelf condition, pricing accuracy, cleanliness, and overall store presentation
Support inventory management, receiving, stock replenishment, and product organization
Assist in handling customer service issues and resolving operational problems in a professional manner
Work closely with management on improving workflow, store standards, and team accountability
Help train employees and reinforce operating procedures and expectations
Communicate with Chinese-speaking and English-speaking staff, customers, and vendors as needed
Step in where needed across departments to support business needs
Qualifications<\/p>\n
English required, Chinese is a plus
English communication skills required
Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred
Retail, supermarket, operations, hospitality, or management experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn
Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and solving problems on the floor
Leadership potential and a positive, team-oriented attitude
