In this role, you will serve as a key IT developer supporting several high-impact legacy products, including Ford&#8217;s Part Billing and Inventory Cost Accounting systems. You will be responsible for direct customer interaction, product development, and the ongoing maintenance and support of critical business systems.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside a Product Owner, Product Manager, and fellow Engineers to deliver innovative projects and features that support future key claims, returns, and order entry programs. This role also presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of global Part Supply and Logistics business initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Support and maintain numerous products within the portfolio, ensuring high availability and performance<br \/>Champion strong customer and business value propositions throughout the product lifecycle<br \/>Actively participate in collaborative product development with cross-functional IT teams, vendors, and business customers<br \/>Manage and address product team deliverables while maintaining and grooming the backlog<br \/>Review, analyze, and support defect resolution efforts, assisting in backlog prioritization<br \/>Create and maintain thorough systems documentation including specifications, use cases, system workflow diagrams, and architecture diagrams<br \/>Analyze complex business systems and translate findings into actionable technical solutions<br \/>Defend and respond to requests from internal auditors with accuracy and professionalism<br \/>Required Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>3+ years\u00a0of experience in application delivery and software development tools<br \/>3+ years\u00a0of hands-on experience with\u00a0IBM Mainframe COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS-DB, and IMS-DC<br \/>2+ years\u00a0of experience working with scheduling and source control tools including\u00a0CA7, Syncsort, SFTP, and Endevor<br \/>2+ years\u00a0of experience creating effective systems documentation, including use cases, specifications, workflow diagrams, and architecture diagrams<br \/>2+ years\u00a0of experience in analyzing and supporting business systems<br \/>Strong understanding of\u00a0systems architecture concepts<br \/>Proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality work on time<br \/>Strong\u00a0analytical and problem-solving skills<br \/>Demonstrated ability to defend and respond to internal audit requests<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>5+ years\u00a0of overall software engineering experience<br \/>Experience working within\u00a0Agile\/Scrum\u00a0product teams<br \/>Background in\u00a0financial systems, supply chain, or logistics\u00a0environments<br \/>Experience supporting\u00a0global enterprise systems<br \/>Familiarity with\u00a0Part Billing or Inventory Cost Accounting\u00a0systems<br \/>Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Education<\/p>\n<p>Education:\u00a0Requires a bachelor\u2019s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we&#8217;ve outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!<\/p>\n<p>As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
