This role ensures the resort attracts, hires, and retains top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate, hiring manager, and employee experience. This is not a Remote position. This position combines hands-on recruiting leadership with forward-thinking workforce planning, relationship building, and process innovation. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, solutions-oriented, and skilled at developing creative staffing strategies and talent pipelines in a dynamic, hospitality-driven environment, while championing Wild Dunes Resort\u2019s culture through impactful onboarding initiatives and service-focused training.\u00a0Key Responsibilities\u00a0Workforce Planning &amp; Talent StrategyDevelop and execute a\u00a0comprehensive annual staffing plan\u00a0aligned with business goals, seasonality, and occupancy forecasts<br \/>Conduct\u00a0annual and ongoing staffing needs assessments\u00a0in partnership with Department Leaders<br \/>Design and implement\u00a0seasonal staffing strategies, including high-volume hiring plans to support peak periodsResponsibility of Off-site Housing for applicable Seasonal Staff.<br \/>Monitor workforce trends and develop proactive solutions to ensure talent readiness<\/p>\n<p>Talent Pipeline Development &amp; SourcingBuild and maintain strong relationships with\u00a0internal leaders, candidates, and external partners<br \/>Establish and manage partnerships with the\u00a0Convention &amp; Visitors Bureau (CVB)\u00a0and workforce programs such as\u00a0ICEP, Trident Technical College,\u00a0and International Partners for recruitment of J1, F1 and H2B work cultural exchange programs.<br \/>Create and implement\u00a0innovative sourcing strategies and new staffing resources\u00a0to attract diverse, qualified candidates<br \/>Represent the resort at job fairs, community events, and workforce development initiatives<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment &amp; Candidate ExperienceLead\u00a0full-cycle recruitment efforts\u00a0to ensure timely filling of all open roles<br \/>Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure a\u00a0seamless, high-quality candidate experience<br \/>Support high-volume and seasonal recruiting needs, stepping in as needed to meet hiring demands<br \/>Drive improvements that enhance hiring manager satisfaction and candidate engagement<\/p>\n<p>Selection &amp; Hiring OperationsEnsure effective collaboration with hiring managers to support selection decisions<br \/>Maintain strong communication throughout the hiring process<br \/>Exercise sound judgment and\u00a0escalate issues appropriately when needed<\/p>\n<p>Onboarding &amp; Pre-Employment ProcessesOversee\u00a0new hire onboarding, including paperwork, HR systems entry, orientation coordination, and I-9 compliance<br \/>Initiate and support\u00a0immigration and housing processes\u00a0as needed<br \/>Ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee with a strong first-day experience<\/p>\n<p>Process Improvement &amp; InnovationIdentify opportunities to\u00a0enhance recruiting processes, tools, and systems<br \/>Utilize data and insights to improve\u00a0time-to-fill and overall hiring efficiency<br \/>Generate and implement\u00a0new ideas and creative staffing solutions\u00a0to strengthen talent pipelines<br \/>Lead talent acquisition projects focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence<\/p>\n<p>Reporting, Metrics &amp; OperationsMaintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data integrity and reporting<br \/>Track and improve key metrics, including\u00a0time-to-fill, quality of hire, and seasonal staffing effectiveness<br \/>Manage recruiting expenses and assist with budget reconciliation<br \/>Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and company policies<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications\u00a0Qualifications\u00a0Required Experience2-3 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or Resort Management, preferably in a fast-paced or hospitality environment<br \/>Proven success in\u00a0workforce planning, high-volume, and seasonal staffing<br \/>Strong ability to\u00a0build relationships and influence stakeholders\u00a0at all organizational levels<br \/>Demonstrated ability to generate innovative staffing solutions and process improvements<br \/>Exceptional organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills<br \/>Ability to operate with urgency, adaptability, and sound decision-making<br \/>Embodies Hyatt\u2019s Core Values &#8211;\u00a0Empathy | Integrity | Respect | Inclusion | Experimentation | Wellbeing<\/p>\n<p>Preferred ExperienceBachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field<br \/>HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP\/SCP, AIRS, or similar) a plus, or desire to work towards the certification<br \/>Experience with workforce development programs, visa programs, or hospitality staffing initiatives is a plus<\/p>\n<p>Additional Information\u00a0This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
