Licensed Clinical Social Worker\/Licensed Professional Counselor (Adolescent Residential Clinician)<\/p>\n
OPEN TO FOREIGN OPT CANDIDATES \/ IMMEDIATE H-1B SPONSORSHIP<\/p>\n
Job Duties:<\/p>\n
Clinical Services & Documentation<\/p>\n
1. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, including DSM-5 diagnostic formulation and ASAM-informed considerations where appropriate.<\/p>\n
2. Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans that meet Idaho Medicaid medical necessity criteria and include measurable goals, objectives, and interventions.<\/p>\n
3. Provide individual, group, and family therapy consistent with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).<\/p>\n
4. Complete all documentation in accordance with Idaho Medicaid requirements, including treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and clinical updates within required timelines.<\/p>\n
5. Ensure documentation clearly reflects medical necessity, active treatment, and progress toward treatment goals.<\/p>\n
Care Coordination & Compliance<\/p>\n
1. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to integrated care planning.<\/p>\n
2. Coordinate care with families, guardians, case managers, Medicaid providers, schools, and community-based services to support continuity of care.<\/p>\n
3. Assist with admission assessments, level-of-care determinations, and discharge planning in alignment with Medicaid criteria.<\/p>\n
4. Maintain compliance with all Idaho Medicaid, IDHW Behavioral Health rules (IDAPA), and applicable accreditation standards (e.g., CARF).<\/p>\n
5. Support utilization review processes, including documentation for continued stay reviews and authorization requests.<\/p>\n
Crisis Management & Milieu Support<\/p>\n
1. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation using approved, trauma-informed techniques while prioritizing safety.<\/p>\n
2. Contribute to maintaining a structured, therapeutic residential milieu that promotes emotional regulation, skill-building, and recovery.<\/p>\n
3. Respond to emergencies and high-risk situations in accordance with facility policy and Idaho regulatory standards.<\/p>\n
Professional Practice<\/p>\n
1. Adhere to ethical and professional standards (NASW for LCSW; ACA for LPC) and maintain client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).<\/p>\n
2. Maintain current knowledge of Idaho Medicaid service requirements, documentation standards, and clinical best practices.<\/p>\n
3. Participate in clinical supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.<\/p>\n
4. Promote a culture of recovery, resilience, and wellness consistent with program philosophy.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements:<\/p>\n
1. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field.<\/p>\n
2. Active LCSW or LPC license in the state of Idaho (required)<\/p>\n
3. CPR\/First Aid certification.<\/p>\n
