Design production hardware for drive unit gearboxes such as oil filters, windage trays, and gear systems hardware.
\nOptimize the correlation between predicted and measured results by leveraging CAE tools and empirical test resources.
\nPropose and validate potential system improvements, collaborate closely with teams to make sure such improvements are effectively implemented.
\nContribute to design reviews, test plans, and requirement reviews to further optimize the powertrain system cross functionally.
\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports related to development work.
\nContribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
\nCollaborate closely with the test engineers and subject matter experts to develop test rigs and test plans to help validate mechanical components.
\nYou’ll have\u2026<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s or Master\u2019s Degree in mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
\nExperience designing, developing, and validating electric vehicle batteries, power electronics, or power units.
\nExperience using simulation\/modelling tools such as MATLAB\/Simulink, Python, GT-Suite, ANSYS or equivalent applications.
\nExperience with instrumentation and measurement of powertrain systems in a lab environment.
\nStrong sense of ownership.
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nStrong first principles understanding
