The Data Analyst II plays a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency, collaborating with senior analysts and IT professionals to develop and maintain data sources and reporting tools.
\nResponsibilities: \u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, supporting senior analysts in the creation of insightful and accurate reports. \u2022 Provide expertise in DAX and other relevant formulas to enhance the quality and functionality of analytical reports. \u2022 Drive data quality by validating data & metrics calculations, surfacing quality issues, documenting metadata, and remediating data quality issues \u2022 Participate in regular code reviews, promoting engineering best practices, including reuse and testing \u2022 Collaborate with IT professionals to learn and adopt enterprise strategies and best practices. \u2022 Manage the seamless promotion of reports and code to production utilizing dbt and GitHub, ensuring a robust and efficient deployment process. \u2022 Contribute to the development and maintenance of data-related best practices, documentation, and quality assurance processes. \u2022 Actively participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution related to data, code, and report generation.
\nQualifications:
\nRequired: \u2022 2-5+ years of experience in data analysis, data wrangling, and data visualization. \u2022 2-5+ years of proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis. \u2022 Experience analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies. \u2022 Expertise cleansing and integrating data from disparate data sources \u2022 Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies \u2022 Undergraduate degree in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering or equivalent field, or equivalent experience. \u2022 Experience at working as a collaborator in a team-oriented environment is essential. \u2022 Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. \u2022 Self-driven to explore and bring new ideas as well driven to help others. \u2022 Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. \u2022 Flexible during times of change. \u2022 Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. \u2022 Persuasive, encouraging and motivating. \u2022 Strong written and oral communication skills. \u2022 Strong interpersonal and operational skill sets. \u2022 Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products \u2013 strong analytics skills. \u2022 Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. \u2022 Strong Customer Service skills and focus required. \u2022 Tenacious, driven, energetic and a high degree of professional integrity. \u2022 Knowledge of data processes, tools, and applications. \u2022 Ability to successfully engage and establish cooperative working relationships with others, both externally and internally. \u2022 Ability to influence decision-makers through fact-based analysis and persuasive communication. \u2022 Robust skills in documentation creation, data analysis and mapping, SQL query writing with a high attention to detail including planning and organization. \u2022 Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation with an ability to focus on business priorities and imperatives. \u2022 Advanced skills in MS Excel including use of pivot tables and VB macros. \u2022 Position requires reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance. \u2022 Experience working with large datasets and complex data environments. \u2022 Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
