This role will support all levels of staff within the team while providing the opportunity to experience new challenges in a dynamic environment.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Working closely with project engineers and project managers
\nMulti-discipline project teams providing electrical engineering design and technical expertise
\nDesign, report writing and field investigations
\nCost estimating and periodic construction observation
\nDesign of new or improvements to existing water treatment facilities, water booster pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater pumping stations, and other water\/wastewater infrastructure
\nAttendance at client meetings
\nTravel to project sites<\/p>\n
Position Requirements:<\/p>\n
A Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering.
\nDemonstrated technical design & construction expertise in Electrical Engineering in industrial or consulting with a plus in water resources arena.
\nMinimum of 4-10 years of electrical experience.
\nLicensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or the ability to gain licensure in Illinois.
\nDemonstrated skills and a working knowledge and\/or be willing to learn to use AutoCAD and Revit for use in designing projects.
\nStrong technical skills to include experience with Microsoft Office products.
\nDemonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
\nValid driver\u2019s license with access to transportation<\/p>\n
Preferred qualifications:<\/p>\n
Prior work experience in electrical engineering
\nTechnical design experience with project design related to power distribution, systems integration and lighting using engineering design\/drafting software
\nModerate to advanced AutoCAD or Revit capabilities<\/p>\n
