Reporting to the Director of Food &amp; Beverage, this role oversees multiple outlets and ensures operational consistency, financial performance, and exceptional guest service across the resort.<\/p>\n<p>This leader collaborates across departments, drives service excellence, and plays an active role in maintaining the standards required of a Forbes-rated and Michelin-recognized property.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Operational Leadership<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, including the signature restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and special events<\/li>\n<li>Support outlet managers and supervisors in executing consistently exceptional service aligned with luxury hospitality standards<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus, beverage programs, and experiences that align with guest expectations and brand values<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and licensing requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Management<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets, labor planning, and overall P&amp;L performance<\/li>\n<li>Monitor financial metrics and implement strategies to drive revenue, control costs, and optimize profitability<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to pricing, product selection, and promotional initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Food &amp; Beverage<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with key vendors, ensuring product quality and favorable purchasing terms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Leadership &amp; Team Development<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers and hourly colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth<\/li>\n<li>Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and develop talent to build bench strength within the department<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate training programs to ensure consistency in service standards and operational procedures<\/li>\n<li>Assist with scheduling and labor management to align staffing levels with business needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guest Experience &amp; Engagement<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain a strong presence in outlets during peak service times, engaging with guests to personalize experiences and resolve concerns proactively<\/li>\n<li>Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and survey results to identify areas of opportunity and implement meaningful improvements<\/li>\n<li>Work with resort leadership and marketing to align offerings with guest demographics, seasonal trends, and resort initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Innovation &amp; Sustainability<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay informed on industry trends, luxury service innovations, and emerging guest preferences<\/li>\n<li>Support the resort\u2019s sustainability efforts, including sourcing locally and seasonally, minimizing waste, and operating responsibly<\/li>\n<li>Partner with departments across the resort to create cohesive guest experiences that reflect the Alila and Hyatt brands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Compensation and Benefits<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual salary range: $90,000 \u2013 $110,000, based on experience and qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive Hyatt benefits package including hotel stay discounts, wellness programs, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement<\/li>\n<li>Ventana Big Sur perks such as complimentary daily meals and a gas stipend for eligible employees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Patrocinio de visados<br \/>This position is open to qualified candidates who require visa sponsorship.
