Rex Fabrics is a leading fabric wholesaler in Los Angeles with over 30 years of success. We are a tight-knit, high-trust team where many employees have stayed for over two decades. We are seeking a highly accurate, organized, and “sharp” Accounting Manager to take full ownership of our financial operations and personal property management.<\/p>\n

Performance-Based Pay:\u00a0The initial pay range is\u00a0$28.00 \u2013 $36.00 per hour.
The 2-Week Trial:\u00a0Upon a successful initial interview, selected candidates will undergo a\u00a0paid 2-week performance trial. Your final hourly rate within the range will be determined based on the speed, accuracy, and “sharpness” demonstrated during this period.
Holiday Bonus:\u00a0An annual Christmas\/Holiday bonus equal to\u00a0one full week\u2019s pay.
The Role\u00a0This is a comprehensive, high-responsibility accounting role. You will manage the entire financial cycle of the wholesale business as well as the accounting for the owners\u2019 separate real estate properties.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Tax & Compliance:\u00a0Prepare business tax documents, including sales tax, payroll tax filings, and year-end preparation for CPA review.
Full-Cycle Accounting:\u00a0Manage Accounts Payable (POs and vendor payments) and Accounts Receivable (CC processing, term invoicing, and bank deposits).
Reconciliations:\u00a0Perform daily bank balance checks and monthly statement reconciliations with 100% accuracy.
Payroll & Commissions:\u00a0Execute weekly payroll and generate precise monthly commission reports for sales representatives.
Property Management:\u00a0Manage rent collection, tenant records, and basic accounting for the owners\u2019 rental properties.
Inventory Liaison:\u00a0Work within our ERP system to receive shipments, create labels, and process returns\/credits.
What We Are Looking For<\/p>\n
Experience:\u00a03+ years in full-charge bookkeeping, ideally in wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing.
Tax Knowledge:\u00a0Proven ability to handle tax document preparation and local\/state compliance.
The “Sharp” Factor:\u00a0We need a critical thinker who catches discrepancies immediately and works with high autonomy.
Tech-Fluency:\u00a0Advanced Excel skills and high comfort level with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Language:\u00a0Professional-level English (written and verbal).
Integrity:\u00a0High-level professional references and a background check are required.
