We believe Love and Technology can make education better!<\/p>\n<p>About This Role<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a high-caliber\u00a0Middle &amp; High School Program Designer\u00a0to lead our &#8220;Credit for Advancement&#8221; initiative across\u00a0California. Your core objective is to ensure Think Academy&#8217;s Middle and High School math courses are recognized for official academic credit by California school districts.<\/p>\n<p>You will navigate the complexities of the\u00a0UC A-G approval process, lead\u00a0WASC\/Cognia accreditation\u00a0efforts, and design the instructional infrastructure (curriculum and teacher training) required to meet California&#8217;s rigorous secondary education standards.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>1. California Standards Alignment &amp; Curriculum Design<\/p>\n<p>Audit and adapt Think Academy&#8217;s secondary math curriculum to ensure 100% alignment with the\u00a0California Common Core State Standards (CA CCSS)\u00a0and the\u00a0California Mathematics Framework.<br \/>Lead the submission and maintenance of courses for\u00a0UC A-G approval, ensuring our curriculum meets the requirements for California college entrance.<br \/>Develop comprehensive course catalogs, instructional materials, and assessment rubrics that satisfy the &#8220;Evidence of Rigor&#8221; required by California public and private school systems.<br \/>2. State-Wide Accreditation &amp; Compliance<\/p>\n<p>Direct the institutional accreditation process for the California region (specifically\u00a0WASC\u00a0and\u00a0Cognia), managing self-studies, site visits, and annual reporting.<br \/>Act as the subject matter expert on California Education Code regarding\u00a0Credit by Examination\u00a0and\u00a0Alternative Credit Options.<br \/>Standardize transcript generation and student record-keeping to ensure seamless credit transferability to California school district SIS (Student Information Systems).<br \/>3. Accredited Teacher Training &amp; Certification<\/p>\n<p>Design a &#8220;California Professional Standards&#8221; training program for our instructional staff, focusing on differentiated instruction and state-aligned pedagogical techniques.<br \/>Establish and monitor teacher evaluation frameworks required by accreditation bodies to maintain high instructional quality.<br \/>Oversee the professional development (PD) hours and certification tracking for our secondary school faculty.<br \/>4.
