This includes pushing, manual shoveling, moving, and cleaning snow and ice from sidewalks and building entrances. Use walk-behind snow blowers or power sweeping equipment to clear snow from immediate building surroundings. Load debris, trash, and accumulated winter refuse onto trucks for disposal. Pretreat and spread salt, sand, and ice-melt pavement treatments on pedestrian walkways and entrances to maintain clear, safe building access. Clean and perform routine cleaning, maintenance, or minor repairs on hand tools and sidewalk snow removal equipment when not in use.
