\nAbout the Role
\nWork as a team with the MSK section chief and residents\/fellows rotating in the MSK section.
\nInterpreting MSK MR and CT scans (excluding spine)
\nFocus on bone\/joint and spine X-rays, with a heavier volume on bone\/joint X-rays
\nUp to 2 MSK procedures per day (fluoro-guided joint injections\/aspirations, arthrograms)
\nUS-guided MSK procedural skills welcome but not required
\nLimited MSK\/soft tissue ultrasound interpretation
\nTeaching radiology residents and fellows.
\nParticipation in research projects and quality improvement projects (typically supervising medical students, residents, and fellows) is encouraged.
\nWeekend on-call duties (Plain Film, 8:00 AM \u2013 5:00 PM) are remote (home workstations are provided to each radiologist).
\nOpportunities for internal moonlighting (e.g. extra weekend calls) are available for those who are interested in earning additional income (this is voluntary).
\nParticipation in multidisciplinary conferences and educational conferences.
\nFull-time onsite work at TMC is desirable, but we can accommodate a request for partial remote work depending on individual needs and circumstances.
\nAcademic productivity, teaching contributions, and clinical work-based incentives are available and paid annually at the time of annual performance review with the Chair.
\nAcademic time will be provided commensurate with educational\/research needs.
\nAdministrative time will be provided for those with a leadership role.
\nTufts Medical Center is a Level-1 Trauma Center located in downtown Boston and is the academic flagship of Tufts Medicine, a healthcare network that encompasses community healthcare practices as well.
