We\u2019re looking for someone who has the fire to prove others wrong<\/p>\n<p>About the role<\/p>\n<p>We are in search of an ML operations engineer who has the drive required to be a part of a founding team looking to tackle a difficult but meaningful problem. You\u2019ll be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our AI systems\u2014from experimentation to production deployment and ongoing optimization.Beyond development, you will be collaborating closely with co-founders Yiwen and Aris on all facets of the startup as we grow Solstice in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>What you\u2019ll be working on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leverage prompt-engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model experimentation, and benchmarking to optimize performance of Solstice\u2019s platform on real biopharma marketing data.<\/li>\n<li>Wrangle proprietary commercial &amp; marketing brand data into complex LLM pipelines to produce high-quality, compliant life sciences marketing content.<\/li>\n<li>Implement ML Ops best practices, including CI\/CD pipelines for ML, model versioning, automated testing, and monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Developing LLM eval infrastructure to store, analyze and iterate on LLM outputs and the feedback we receive from clients<\/li>\n<li>Scope, architect, and build SOTA agents and pipelines while supporting customers directly.<\/li>\n<li>Flex across the full stack (frontend, backend, infra) to build whatever is necessary to support our customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some ideal traits we\u2019re looking for<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering chops. Relevant experience building systems &amp; deploying enterprise-grade products<\/li>\n<li>Independent thinking. While we believe specific skills can be taught, we need someone who has the ability to make decisions and drive results on their own.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in full-stack web development technologies such as Python, FastAPI, Docker, AWS<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with LLMs such as GPT, Claude and Gemini to create LLM-based workflows, RAG Pipelines and agentic solutions. (Either formally or through projects\/experimentation)<\/li>\n<li>Superb communication and collaboration skills.
