As a recent graduate, you will play a hands-on role in developing the software stack that powers our surgical robotic arms. You will move beyond theory to apply your knowledge of ROS, kinematics, and control algorithms to real-world medical hardware.<\/p>\n<p>You will work cross-functionally with mechanical engineers, clinical experts, and senior software architects to design, simulate, and deploy safety-critical software. This is an opportunity to solve complex problems in motion planning and control while adhering to the highest standards of medical device engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Essential Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Software Development: Design and implement robust software in C++ and Python within the ROS2 frame for robotic manipulators.<\/li>\n<li>Algorithm Implementation: Develop and tune algorithms for robotic control, forward\/inverse kinematics, dynamics, and trajectory planning.<\/li>\n<li>Simulation: Build and maintain high-fidelity simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, MuJoCo) to test code safely before deployment on physical hardware.<\/li>\n<li>System Integration: Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and low-level controllers into the high-level software stack.<\/li>\n<li>Testing &amp; Validation: Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of robotic systems to ensure safety and reliability in a medical context.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Learning: Actively participate in code reviews and technical mentorship sessions to refine your engineering skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education: Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
