About the RoleWe are a start-up insurance carrier company, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst\/Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into actionable insights, streamline processes, and help drive data-informed decision-making across teams. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including operations, product, finance, and technology teams, to improve performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities\u2022 Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for new projects or process improvements.\u2022 Work with stakeholders to identify business needs, define objectives, and propose data-driven solutions.\u2022 Translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers or technical teams.\u2022 Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.\u2022 Conduct market, financial, and operational analyses to support strategic initiatives.\u2022 Map and optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.\u2022 Assist with system implementations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management.\u2022 Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear, concise manner.\u2022 Monitor KPIs and create periodic reports to track progress against business goals.
QualificationsRequired:\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.\u2022 0-3 years of experience in business analysis, operations, consulting, or related roles.\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\u2022 Excellent communication skills\u2014able to translate complex data into actionable insights.\u2022 Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.Experience working in insurance is preferred<\/p>\n
