While we can\u2019t reveal too much just yet, our team is tackling cutting-edge engineering challenges to bring revolutionary products to life.<\/p>\n<p>About the role<br \/>We\u2019re looking for a\u00a0Senior Electrical Engineer\u00a0to help architect, design, and ship next-generation\u00a0neurotech hardware products. As a key member of our growing hardware team, you will own major portions of the electrical system from early architecture through production and play a critical role in bringing complex consumer electronics to life.<\/p>\n<p>What you&#8217;ll do<br \/>Electrical System Architecture &amp; Product Development<\/p>\n<p>Lead electrical architecture and board-level design for mixed-signal consumer hardware systems from concept through production.<br \/>Own schematic design and guide development through\u00a0EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production.<br \/>Define system partitioning, interfaces, and component selection across compute, sensors, connectivity, and power subsystems.<br \/>Drive rigorous\u00a0design reviews\u00a0and help establish strong electrical design and manufacturing standards.<br \/>Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to optimize\u00a0performance, size, thermal behavior, and reliability.<br \/>Operate effectively in a startup environment where engineers own large portions of the hardware stack.<br \/>High-Speed &amp; High-Density Hardware Design<\/p>\n<p>Design\u00a0high-density, multi-layer PCBAs\u00a0using HDI techniques, fine-pitch BGAs, and controlled-impedance routing.<br \/>Implement high-speed digital interfaces such as\u00a0USB, Quad-SPI, MIPI, CSI\/DSI, DDR, or similar buses.<br \/>Design analog and mixed-signal circuits including\u00a0amplifiers, filters, sensor interfaces, and ADC\/DAC connections.<br \/>Optimize PCB layout for\u00a0signal integrity, power integrity, and low-noise performance.<br \/>Power Electronics &amp; Battery Systems<\/p>\n<p>Define\u00a0system-level power architecture\u00a0for battery-powered consumer and wearable devices.<br \/>Design and integrate\u00a0high-efficiency DC-DC converters\u00a0(buck, boost, and related architectures).<br \/>Optimize\u00a0power consumption, battery runtime, and quiescent current\u00a0across active and standby modes.<br \/>Design and integrate\u00a0battery charging and power management solutions\u00a0for Li-ion\/Li-poly systems.<br \/>Consider\u00a0thermal constraints and power density\u00a0in compact or sealed wearable devices.<br \/>Validation, Bring-Up &amp; Debug<\/p>\n<p>Lead\u00a0board bring-up and electrical debugging\u00a0across analog, digital, and power domains.<br \/>Use advanced lab instrumentation including\u00a0oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and high-speed probes.<br \/>Define and execute validation plans including\u00a0signal integrity, power integrity, and environmental testing.<br \/>Perform\u00a0root-cause analysis\u00a0and resolve hardware issues discovered during development or production.<br \/>Manufacturing &amp; Production (DFM \/ DFT)<\/p>\n<p>Design hardware with strong\u00a0Design for Manufacturing (DFM)\u00a0and\u00a0Design for Test (DFT)\u00a0principles.<br \/>Support\u00a0EVT, DVT, and PVT builds\u00a0and ramp hardware to mass production.<br \/>Work with\u00a0contract manufacturers and suppliers\u00a0to resolve manufacturing and yield issues.<br \/>Develop or support\u00a0manufacturing test infrastructure, including programming, calibration, and test fixtures.<br \/>Requisiti<br \/>5+ years\u00a0of experience in electrical or hardware engineering.<br \/>Experience shipping at least one\u00a0consumer electronics product, preferably compact or wearable devices..<br \/>Strong experience designing\u00a0high-density, multi-layer PCBs\u00a0with controlled impedance and fine-pitch components.<br \/>Solid understanding of\u00a0analog and mixed-signal circuit design.<br \/>Experience implementing\u00a0system power architecture for battery-powered products.<br \/>Experience designing or integrating\u00a0DC-DC converters and power management circuits.<br \/>Experience with\u00a0high-speed interfaces\u00a0such as USB, Quad-SPI, MIPI, DDR, or similar.<br \/>Strong hands-on experience with\u00a0board bring-up, debugging, and lab validation.<br \/>Understanding of\u00a0signal integrity and power integrity\u00a0in high-density electronic systems.<br \/>Experience working\u00a0cross-functionally in fast-paced product development environments.<br \/>Strong candidates may have<br \/>Experience designing\u00a0wearable or body-worn devices\u00a0with tight power, size, and thermal constraints.<br \/>Strong experience with\u00a0Altium Designer\u00a0or equivalent PCB tools.<br \/>Experience supporting\u00a0EVT, DVT, and PVT builds\u00a0and ramping hardware to mass production.<br \/>Experience designing\u00a0manufacturing test fixtures or automated test systems.<br \/>Familiarity with\u00a0thermal analysis\u00a0for compact electronics.<br \/>Experience with\u00a0embedded firmware development (C\/C++).<br \/>Experience with\u00a0Python for lab automation or instrumentation control.<br \/>Familiarity with\u00a0EMI\/EMC pre-compliance testing and mitigation.<br \/>Deeper power electronics experience including\u00a0converter loss analysis\u00a0and\u00a0control loop analysis and compensation design<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Compensation Range<br \/>$150,000 &#8211;
