Pepper Pike Club\u00a0Job Description\u00a0Golf Course Maintenance Laborer (H2B Visa)\u00a0Position Summary\u00a0The Golf Course Maintenance Laborer is a full-time seasonal team member responsible for assisting in the daily maintenance and care of The Pepper Pike Club\u2019s championship golf course and surrounding grounds. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional course conditions that reflect the Club\u2019s commitment to excellence and outstanding member experiences. This position requires early-morning availability, physical stamina, attention to detail, and a positive, team-first attitude.\u00a0Employment ClassificationSeasonal, Full-Time
Non-Exempt \/ Hourly
Overtime eligible as applicable<\/p>\n
Reporting RelationshipReports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents<\/p>\n
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and other turf areas as assigned
Rake and maintain bunkers
Operate hand-held equipment, including string trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers
Assist with course setup, including changing cups and tee markers
Perform divot repair and ball mark repair
Assist with irrigation repair and watering as needed
Maintain landscaping beds and surrounding grounds
Remove debris and maintain the cleanliness of maintenance areas
Follow daily work assignments and safety guidelines
Support special projects, including aerification, overseeding, and course improvements
Work efficiently to prepare the course for daily member play and special events<\/p>\n
QualificationsPrior golf course or landscaping experience preferred but not required
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled<\/p>\n
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to operate golf course maintenance equipment safely
Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions<\/p>\n
Work ScheduleTypical start times are between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Weekends and holidays are required during the golf season
Overtime may be required during peak season or tournament preparation<\/p>\n
