The Music Institute of North Texas (MINT) is a well-established music school proudly serving the Frisco community for over 16 years. We are known for our commitment to quality instruction, student success, and a welcoming professional environment.<\/p>\n
We are hiring for both Piano Teachers and Voice Teachers. Piano teachers are not required to teach voice, and voice teachers are not required to teach piano.<\/p>\n
What You’ll Do:<\/p>\n
* Teach private weekly lessons consistently (in-person at our Frisco location)<\/p>\n
* Prepare students for 2 annual recitals, and additional opportunities such as festivals and competitions<\/p>\n
* Incorporate theory instruction into lessons, and help prepare students for the Texas State Theory Exam<\/p>\n
* Communicate with families and support each student’s individual goals and progress<\/p>\n
What We’re Looking For:<\/p>\n
* A Bachelor’s degree or higher in the discipline you wish to teach (a piano teacher should have a degree in piano performance or pedagogy; a voice teacher should have a degree in voice performance or pedagogy)<\/p>\n
* Prior teaching experience with school-age children and adults<\/p>\n
* Confidence in teaching all levels, from beginners to advanced<\/p>\n
* A passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to tailor lessons to individual student needs<\/p>\n
