Company’s Production Engineering (PE)-\u00a0Battery Manufacturing Engineering (BME) Battery Cell Department\u00a0is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer to join our
Ryohin Joken (Conditions for Good Process and Product) advancement and problem-solving group.
Reporting to Engineering Manager the person in this role will support the PE-BME Battery Cell Department’s mission to deliver engineering solutions for rapid competitiveness improvements through safety first, people development, and customer focus.
The primary responsibility of this role is leading planning and problem-solving efforts in pre-production trial activity\u00a0. Utilizing and improving systems & procedures for efficient and effective issue identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and reoccurrence prevention \/ kaizen to subsequent activity and projects.
This role will also contribute to the success of developing organization’s capabilities through advancement & application of Ryohin Joken knowledge and skill.
( \u25b3 1) As future development, this position has potential to rotate into role of process equipment production preparation management including specification, procurement, installation, and trial activity.
Requirements:
What you bring<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field or 5+ years of equivalent Engineering role experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in manufacturing production preparation role and schedule\/deliverable management including stages of project plan, process\/equipment plan, specification & procurement, installation and trial. (2 years Required, 4 years Preferred)
Experience in battery cell product, processes\/equipment, and\/or trial activity. (1+ years Required, 2+ years Preferred)
Experience coordinating with varied functions in large corporate organization, including production engineering, manufacturing, research & development, or similar, and reporting out to senior leadership level.
Experience in interpreting & applying product\/process specification, drawing , etc.
Experience in product x process\/equipment simultaneous engineering for new model.
