We\u2019re looking for passionate Line Cooks to join our team for the 2027 summer season on the beautiful Rhode Island coast. If you\u2019re passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and want a seasonal home that takes care of its people, keep reading.<\/p>\n

Competitive compensation \u2013 $20 per hour!<\/p>\n
Season dates: April 1 \u2013 December 1, 2027 (specific start and end dates may vary by location)<\/p>\n

WHAT YOU\u2019LL DO
No two days are exactly the same, but here\u2019s the heart of the role:<\/p>\n
Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items to restaurant standards
Make sure food orders are fulfilled promptly and correctly, checking the status of orders as they move through service
Assist in final dish preparation, upholding our standards for quality, speed, and presentation
Clean and maintain your workstation, cooking equipment, tools, and utensils
Work closely with your team to keep service running smoothly
You\u2019ll report directly to the Executive Chef at your assigned restaurant.<\/p>\n

The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar \u2013 Iconic waterfront dining in downtown Newport
22 Bowen\u2019s \u2013 Premier steak and seafood restaurant on Bowen\u2019s Wharf
Celeste \u2013 Southern European-inspired cuisine in Narragansett
Boat House \u2013 Coastal New England dining with bay views in Tiverton

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
On paper, you bring:<\/p>\n
Minimum 6 months of line cook experience
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25\u201350 pounds
