The Sales Engineer role involves qualifying deals, conducting discovery meetings, and demonstrating Dataiku\u2019s value to customers through various presentations and evaluations.<br \/>\nResponsibilities: \u2022 Qualify deals through collaboration with the Account Executive (AE), the Business Development Representative (BDR), and sales management \u2022 Conduct Discovery meetings and learn from the customer and the BDR about the customer&#8217;s business requirements and technical environment \u2022 Articulate to the Opportunity Team and to the customer usage scenarios that illustrate the business value desired by the customer \u2022 Use Dataiku to demonstrate the business value articulated in the usage scenarios \u2022 Design and create Dataiku additional demonstrations, Proofs-of-Concept (POC), and evaluations that clearly illustrate how to apply Dataiku to deliver the required customer value \u2022 Execute demonstrations, POCs, and evaluations through coordination of the physical and human resources of Dataiku and the customer; lead the combined team to carry out the agreed upon course of action to prove that Dataiku delivers the needed value better than our competitors \u2022 Answer questions and provide technical guidance to the customer\u2019s technical team regarding the demonstrated or evaluated solutions \u2022 Assist in sales pipeline building activities including attendance at live and\/or virtual trade-shows and industry conferences, working with marketing and or partners on campaign design and execution and other activities specified by sales and pre-sales management<br \/>\nQualifications:<br \/>\nRequired: \u2022 Strong natural and intellectual curiosity especially around the application of technology to solve all kinds of problems \u2022 Experience in technical pre-sales, preferably in a high-growth environment \u2022 Familiarity with data storage and computing infrastructure for data of all sizes (SQL, NoSQL, Kubernetes, Spark, etc) \u2022 Comfortability talking to all levels of customer teams from individual contributors to C-level executives \u2022 Experience in Analytics\/AI or other enterprise software \u2022 Previously worked in a fast paced, growing company \u2022 Currently located within the tristate region<br \/>\nPreferred: \u2022 Experience in the data science, analytics, or big data markets preferred but not required<br \/>\nCompany: Dataiku operates as an enterprise artificial intelligence and machine-learning platform.
