We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, focusing on preventive medicine and the management of chronic conditions. This role requires a strong foundation in various medical disciplines, including but not limited to family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. The Primary Care Medical Doctor will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.<\/p>\n
Duties<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
Manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing ongoing care and monitoring.
Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
Collaborate with specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, and gastroenterology as needed.
Perform basic procedures including suturing, IV infusion, and airway management.
Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding lifestyle changes and disease prevention.
Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Engage in discharge planning for patients transitioning from hospital to home or other care settings.
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
Proficiency in EHR systems; experience with Epic is a plus.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment protocols across various specialties including psychiatry, dermatology, pediatrics, and more.
Experience in critical care or acute care settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with procedures such as cardiac catheterization, vascular interventional radiography, and neurocritical care is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
