Work spans study design, method optimization, data analysis, and manuscript preparation supporting sponsor deliverables. Purpose of Research: Execute and advance funded specific aims across multiple awards; develop\/optimize protocols and analysis pipelines; integrate datasets across projects; lead publications (two manuscripts currently in preparation); and mentor trainees to ensure continuity and scale. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead research &amp; methods development \u2014 design experiments\/analyses; develop\/validate protocols; ensure data quality &amp; reproducibility (50%). Project &amp; data management \u2014 coordinate cross\u2011project timelines\/milestones; maintain code\/data pipelines; ensure documentation &amp; compliance (20%). Publications &amp; dissemination \u2014 lead\/manuscript writing (two in prep), figure generation, conference abstracts\/talks, responses to peer review (15%). Training &amp; mentorship \u2014 guide graduate students\/staff in techniques, analysis, and best practices; promote safety and rigor (10%). Lab\/administrative support \u2014 compliance, inventories, purchasing coordination, and core\/fee\u2011for\u2011service interactions (5%). Requirements: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics and 4 years of relevant experience relevant experience in the lab\u2019s primary methods such as molecular biology, next gen sequencing and quantitative data analysis in Python\/R. . Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Spatial transcriptomics assay setup &amp; optimization: tissue cryosectioning\/fixation, array\/barcode handling, multi\u2011cycle hybridization.<br \/>2. DNA\u2011barcoded immunolabeling (antibodies\/oligo\u2011tags): titration, controls, panel QC.<br \/>NGS library prep &amp; run QC: UMI\/barcode handling, cleanup\/indexing, Qubit\/Bioanalyzer, pass\/fail metrics.<br \/>3. Imaging &amp; decoding: slide\u2011scanning fluorescence, cycle registration\/drift correction, mapping to pixel coordinates.<br \/>4. Primary processing &amp; first\u2011pass analysis: demux\/trim\/align to pixel\u2011level count matrices; QC metrics &amp; basic clustering\/plots; Python or R; SOP\/ELN. Desire: 1. Experience with spatial and single-cell multiomics.<br \/>2. Barcode design\/error\u2011aware decoding; ambient\/background correction.<br \/>3. Segmentation &amp; deconvolution (e.g., Cellpose\/Scanpy\/Seurat or similar).<br \/>4. Workflow\/HPC (Snakemake\/Nextflow, containers) and data management (e.g., S3\/Globus).<br \/>5.
