Qualifications
Graduation from an\u00a0accredited school of Physical Therapist Assistant\u00a0(required)
Active\u00a0Massachusetts PTA license\u00a0in good standing
Experience with Net Health\u00a0preferred

The\u00a0Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)\u00a0provides skilled therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on helping residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall quality of life in a compassionate and professional setting.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
Resident Care<\/p>\n
Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve mobility, and promote healing.
Provide skilled therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a\u00a0Physical Therapist (PT).
Implement and modify treatment plans as directed by the PT.
Measure and document patient strength, balance, and functional progress.
Monitor and report patient responses to therapy interventions.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to ensure optimal care outcomes.
Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
Training & Education<\/p>\n
Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences.
Provide training and guidance to Restorative Nursing and care staff.
Educate residents, caregivers, and community partners on therapy programs and exercises.
Support\u00a0PTA student development\u00a0and educational programs.
Maintain compliance with all required education, training, and competency standards.
