Role Overview
We are seeking a\u00a0Head of Product & Technical Marketing\u00a0to lead the global marketing strategy and execution for advanced\u00a0coherent optical communication technologies. This role will own the entire marketing function\u2014from\u00a0strategic positioning and product marketing to demand generation and go-to-market execution.<\/p>\n
The position requires a unique blend of\u00a0technical depth in coherent optics and DSP technologies\u00a0along with\u00a0proven marketing leadership\u00a0to accelerate growth in the\u00a0optical communications and semiconductor markets.<\/p>\n
You will work closely with\u00a0engineering, product, and sales teams, translating market needs into product requirements while articulating complex technologies into compelling market narratives.<\/p>\n
This role offers an opportunity to help shape the future of\u00a0next-generation optical communication systems (800G, 1.6T and beyond)\u00a0that power modern AI data infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the\u00a0global marketing strategy\u00a0aligned with corporate objectives and product roadmap.
Position the organization as a\u00a0leader in coherent DSP and optical semiconductor technologies.
Collaborate with\u00a0executive leadership, engineering, sales, and operations\u00a0to align product messaging with market needs.
Product & Technical Marketing
Own product marketing for\u00a0Coherent DSP ASICs and optical communication solutions.
Conduct\u00a0competitive analysis, market research, and differentiation strategy.
Develop and maintain\u00a0MRDs (Market Requirements Documents) and PRDs (Product Requirements Documents).
Create\u00a0technical marketing collateral\u00a0including white papers, datasheets, product briefs, and presentations.
Represent the company at\u00a0industry events, conferences, and analyst briefings.
Demand Generation & Go-To-Market
Develop and execute\u00a0go-to-market strategies\u00a0for product launches and marketing campaigns.
Lead\u00a0digital marketing, PR, SEO\/SEM, and event strategy\u00a0to generate global demand.
Support\u00a0sales enablement and account-based marketing initiatives\u00a0to accelerate pipeline growth.
Work closely with sales leadership to support\u00a0customer acquisition and market expansion.
Team & Budget Leadership
Build and lead a\u00a0high-performance marketing team.
Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources to\u00a0maximize ROI.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product, engineering, and sales.

Mandatory Requirements
Proven track record of bringing\u00a0technical semiconductor or telecom solutions to market\u00a0in a startup or high-growth environment.
Deep understanding of\u00a0coherent optical systems, DSP algorithms, modulation formats, and telecom\/datacom market dynamics.
Prior experience\u00a0owning or writing MRDs and PRDs.
Extensive experience in\u00a0product marketing leadership\u00a0within\u00a0optical communications, semiconductor, or networking industries.
Minimum\u00a010+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
At least\u00a05+ years of direct experience in coherent optics, DSP, optical transceivers, or photonic integrated circuits (PICs).

Experience working with\u00a0hyperscalers, network OEMs, or system integrators.
Strong\u00a0leadership and team management experience.
Experience managing\u00a0marketing budgets and resource allocation.
Experience working in both\u00a0startups and large enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
