Mountain Top Inn & Resort located at 195 Mountain Top Road Vermont 05737<\/p>\n
seeks nine (9) full-time Temporary Room Attendant who will be<\/p>\n
Responsible For<\/p>\n
Clean guest rooms as assigned, including but not limited to making<\/p>\n
beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
Change bed linens, towels and guest amenities as needed
Stock and maintain housekeeping closets and housekeeping vans daily
Dispose of trash, recyclables and food waste
Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and<\/p>\n
efficient manner<\/p>\n
3 months of successful experience at restaurant, hotel, resort, private<\/p>\n
club, timeshare, or other hospitality business requiring cleaning or<\/p>\n
customer service duties.<\/p>\n
Workers are assigned to one (1) worksite per day and will not travel<\/p>\n
outside of their assigned worksite. Daily commuting time to worksites is<\/p>\n
less than one (1) hour.<\/p>\n
Daily transportation is provided to and from worksite.<\/p>\n
On-the-job training is provided.
Wage:** Guaranteed prevailing wage rate of $17.55 per hour, paid<\/p>\n
bi-weekly. Overtime is available and guaranteed at no less than $26.33<\/p>\n
per hour.
Schedule:** 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include<\/p>\n
evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week<\/p>\n
from Monday through Sunday. Work hours and shifts vary.<\/p>\n
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.<\/p>\n
Federal requirements of employer for workers hired with H-2B Visa<\/p>\n
authorization and all corresponding U.S. workers. Company will consider<\/p>\n
all qualified candidates. Company is willing to facilitate **optional**<\/p>\n
housing accommodations through a third party to candidates hired who<\/p>\n
reside 100 miles or more outside of the work location and are willing to<\/p>\n
temporarily relocate to the work location. Housing is limited to the<\/p>\n
period of time of temporary employment which is no more than the<\/p>\n
certified work period and is on a first come first serve basis. Cost of<\/p>\n
housing, if accepted, is up to $125 per week payable to third party<\/p>\n
housing provider. If housing is utilized, an agreement for housing will<\/p>\n
be required with the third-party provider. A security deposit of up to<\/p>\n
$500 is required.<\/p>\n
All deductions from paycheck will be made in accordance with and as<\/p>\n
required by law including but not limited proper deduction to ensure<\/p>\n
wages do not improperly fall below prevailing wage.<\/p>\n
If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will<\/p>\n
pay directly for and\/or reimburse workers for transportation and<\/p>\n
subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon<\/p>\n
completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed<\/p>\n
