About the Role<\/p>\n
We are looking for an\u00a0Operations Manager \u2013 Gems & Jewelry\u00a0to support the day-to-day operations of our New York office. This person will help manage customer orders, coordinate sourcing activities, work closely with vendors, and ensure smooth communication between our teams in New York and India.<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate will have 2\u20133 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field. Basic knowledge of gems, jewelry, or the jewelry industry is preferred. Strong Excel skills are required. While this is primarily an operations role, there will be occasional client interaction and some domestic travel for trade shows and industry events.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage and track customer orders to ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
Coordinate sourcing and production activities with internal teams and vendors.
Work closely with teams in New York and India to keep operations running smoothly.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Track inventory, shipments, and operational reports.
Assist with client communication and provide updates when needed.
Attend domestic trade shows and industry events as required.
Help improve processes and identify ways to make operations more efficient.
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Required<\/p>\n
2\u20133 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or a related field.
Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to travel domestically when needed.
Preferred<\/p>\n
Basic knowledge of gems, diamonds, jewelry, or jewelry manufacturing.
Experience working with international teams and vendors.
Understanding of inventory management and sourcing processes.
