Founding Account Executive
A fast-growing, seed-stage healthcare and life sciences startup using AI to help clinical trials run faster is looking for a\u00a0Founding Account Executive\u00a0to become its first dedicated seller.
This is a true\u00a00\u21921 sales opportunity\u00a0where you\u2019ll build the sales motion from the ground up, own the full cycle from outbound prospecting through close, and work directly with the founding team on deals, pricing, positioning, and GTM strategy. The company has already onboarded\u00a0300+ clinical research sites\u00a0and is now looking for someone who can turn that early traction into a repeatable revenue engine.
What You\u2019ll DoOwn the full sales cycle from prospecting through closed-won revenue
Self-source pipeline through cold email, LinkedIn, conferences, and other outbound channels
Build outbound sequences, campaigns, messaging, and sales collateral from scratch
Run discovery calls, pilots, negotiations, and closing conversations
Work directly with the founders on pricing, deal strategy, positioning, and GTM
Use AI and automation tools to make prospecting and sales workflows more efficient
Help build the initial sales playbook and processes that future hires will inherit<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For2\u201310 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, startup sales, or a related GTM role
Proven ability to self-source pipeline rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or SDR support
Experience working in an early-stage startup or similarly fast-moving environment
Strong full-cycle sales experience with an emphasis on revenue and deals closed
AI-native and comfortable using modern sales tools and automation
Highly proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating without an established playbook
Healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or biopharma experience is a plus
Strong academic background or another clear signal of intellectual horsepower preferred
Management consultants looking to transition into startup sales\/GTM may also be considered
Must be able to work 3 days\/week in San Francisco<\/p>\n
Compensation & BenefitsBase: $100K\u2013$120K
OTE: $180K\u2013$220K+
