Tomoko Shima Hair Salon is an established NYC salon offering haircuts, color, Japanese Head Spa, smoothing treatments, and other professional services.<\/p>\n
We are seeking experienced, motivated stylists for full-time, part-time, or commission-based positions in a supportive salon environment.<\/p>\n
Available Positions: Full-Time Hair Stylist<\/p>\n
4+ days per week
$17\u2013$22 per hour, based on experience and technical assessment
Commission option may be available
Existing clientele welcome but\u00a0not required

Start Date and Paid Training<\/p>\n
The official start date is\u00a0October 1.
Before the start date, selected candidates are expected to attend several days of\u00a0paid training during September, based on their availability.
Training dates and schedules will be arranged in advance with the salon.
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Provide haircut, styling, and color services
Consult with clients and recommend appropriate services
Deliver excellent customer service
Maintain a clean, professional environment
Collaborate with the salon team
Experience with Japanese Head Spa, smoothing treatments, or specialty services is a plus.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Valid\u00a0New York State Cosmetology License
3+ years of salon experience
Strong haircut and color skills
Excellent communication and customer service
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
