The Electrical Systems Engineer will lead the design and development of hardware systems integration across various vehicle subsystems. You will be responsible for the complete end-to-end integration of hardware components, focusing on subsystems such as chassis, thermal, body, safety, and lighting. You will be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support product design, vehicle behaviors definition, prototype bring-up, and debugging, ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of all systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will conceptualize, design, engineer, and support the launch of next-generation vehicle platform architectures for electric vehicles.<\/p>\n
B.S in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent<\/p>\n
5+ years of experience working on complex electrical systems or electronics designs
\nStrong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them to automotive concepts
\nProven debugging and diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, and software domains
\nExperience with Vehicle Network Protocols such as CAN, LIN & Automotive Ethernet
\nExperience with creating and executing component and system level test procedures[AP1]
\nExperience with requirements capture in requirements management software platforms (JAMA, etc)
\nExcellent teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills
\nAn eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment where you are part of a high performing team
\nA systems approach to design and development with the desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery execution and continuous improvement
\nPreferred Requirements:<\/p>\n
Master\u2019s Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
\nHands-on experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, power supplies, etc.)
\nExperience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)
\nExperience with electrical \/ electro-mechanical devices involving networked microcontrollers and embedded software
