The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the food and beverage areas within the resort. This role includes scheduling, forecasting, training, and compliance with all relevant laws and operating procedures. The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in service execution, team leadership, and guest satisfaction, as well as contributing to financial performance and event coordination.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating all food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality service and profitability.
\nSupervise and support food and beverage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
\nProvide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff regarding service on the floor, ensuring consistency in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all dining areas.
\nCollaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality and consistency, aligned with the resort\u2019s luxury standards.
\nMonitor guest satisfaction and address service issues promptly and professionally.
\nManage budgets, control costs, and help achieve financial targets.
\nOversee inventory management and procurement of food, beverages, and supplies.
\nInnovate and implement guest dining enhancements that drive revenue and customer delight.
\nFoster strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
\nStay informed on industry trends and incorporate best practices into operations.
\nSalary and Benefits<\/p>\n
This is a salaried position with an annual range of $68,000 \u2013 $80,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury resort or fine-dining setting.
\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
\nAdvanced knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service in luxury hospitality environments.
\nDetail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
\nFinancial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
\nKnowledge of health and safety regulations; food handling certifications (e.g., ServSafe) a plus.
\nStrong problem-solving and guest recovery skills.
\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
\nWine\/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment strongly preferred.
\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs or more.
\nAble to stand for long periods of time.
\nMust be comfortable walking large areas across our expansive property.
