We are seeking an experienced Verification Engineer to join a pioneering hardware technology team developing next-generation optical communication systems, including 800G, 1.6T and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to work with industry experts, influence key architectural decisions, and contribute directly to the future of AI connectivity and modern data infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Principais responsabilidades<\/p>\n
Plan, architect and execute verification strategies for digital design blocks based on specifications
Develop and maintain verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM
Define, measure and close functional and corner-case coverage
Debug RTL functionality and collaborate closely with design and architecture teams
Conduct coverage collection, analysis and closure to ensure full verification completeness
Participate in design reviews, test plan development, regressions and sign-off
Work through at least one full block or system verification cycle
Qualifica\u00e7\u00f5es necess\u00e1rias<\/p>\n
5+ years of experience in digital RTL engineering
Minimum 3 years of design verification experience
Strong understanding of VLSI verification flows, methodologies and industry tools
Hands-on experience building environments using SystemVerilog + UVM (or Specman\/eRM, SystemC)
Proven ability to execute a full block or system verification cycle
Strong debugging skills and experience with waveform analysis tools
Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX, five days a week
Nice To Have<\/p>\n
Experience with digital data-path or protocol-level verification (Ethernet, high-speed interfaces, etc.)
Knowledge of advanced functional and code coverage methodologies
Exposure to mixed-signal or analog\/digital verification environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including test plan documentation and presenting results
Target Background<\/p>\n
Candidates with experience from companies specializing in semiconductors, optical communication, VLSI design, EDA tools or high-performance computing are highly encouraged to apply. Experience from companies such as AMD, Intel, Nvidia, Broadcom, Marvell, Synopsys, Cadence, TSMC, Applied Materials, Lightmatter, Ayar Labs, and similar is considered a strong plus.<\/p>\n
