General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n
Teaching rigorous curriculum in a high-quality and exciting way
Thriving as part of a team-oriented, mission-driven school culture and implementing school-wide policies within classrooms and throughout the campus
Committing to constant professional growth through feedback, coaching, and professional development
Using student achievement data to set ambitious academic goals for students
Constantly assessing student progress, and communicating results to families and colleagues
Providing individual or small group instruction for students who need additional assistance
Committing to tutoring, after school activities, and being a part of the larger school community<\/p>\n
Qualified candidates have:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree, 18 credit hours in core subject area
At least two years of working with youth
Application to the State for licensure is required<\/p>\n
A teaching demonstration is required.<\/p>\n
