You will report into and work side-by-side with the Head of Finance to establish foundational accounting systems, processes, and controls, while also running the day-to-day accounting operation. Your work will directly enable accurate, timely financial reporting during a period of rapid growth, evolving business models, and increasing scale. You will own the accounting truth.<\/p>\n<p>This is not your typical accounting role. If you are energized by building rather than maintaining, and want real influence over how things are designed and run, this role gives you the chance to shape the accounting function, and beyond. You will also partner with our Marketplace Engineering team to inform and influence product features that power the SF Compute platform.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O que voc\u00ea far\u00e1:<br \/>Core Accounting &amp; Close<\/p>\n<p>Own the monthly close process end-to-end, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting<br \/>Continuously improve the speed, quality, and scalability of the close<br \/>Maintain balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and reviews<\/p>\n<p>Systems, Controls &amp; Scale<\/p>\n<p>Working with our external Netsuite consultant, optimize NetSuite flow with a strong focus on automation and clean data flows between our internal databases and external service providers<br \/>Support the design and implementation of internal controls and audit-ready processes<br \/>Partner with the Head of Finance on audit preparation and external advisor coordination<br \/>Be AI-fluent, show strong inclination and ability to implement and automate as much of the monthly closing as possible with new AI-accounting stack<\/p>\n<p>Operational Finance<\/p>\n<p>Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management<br \/>Support intercompany accounting, eliminations, and the future rollout of a formal consolidation process<br \/>Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts in partnership with Finance leadership<\/p>\n<p>Cross-Functional Partnership<\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with Operations and other teams to support accurate reporting, cost visibility, and compliance<br \/>Help translate business activity into clean, reliable financial data<br \/>Part of your mandate is to assist the Marketplace Engineering team in exploring or fine tuning our marketplace features so they are loved by our customers, you may even expose yourself to the world of product management if that interests you!<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Team &amp; Future Leadership<\/p>\n<p>Without slowing down our pace and growth, play a key role in defining processes, documentation, and best practices that will support future company growth<br \/>Build and lead a high-performing accounting team as the company scales<\/p>\n<p>What We\u2019re Looking For:<br \/>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field<br \/>5\u20137 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth or VC-backed SaaS or Marketplace technology company<br \/>1+ year of experience managing or mentoring high-performing accounting professionals<br \/>CPA strongly preferred; Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus<br \/>Strong experience owning end-to-end accounting operations, including monthly close, payroll, AP, AR, and balance sheet reconciliations<br \/>Comfortable working across multiple legal entities; international exposure is a plus<\/p>\n<p>Systems &amp; Technical Skills<\/p>\n<p>Deep, hands-on experience with\u00a0NetSuite\u00a0(this is required, for now)<br \/>Strong technical accounting foundation;
