Exa is building a search engine from scratch to serve every AI agent. We build massive-scale infrastructure to crawl the web, train state-of-the-art embedding models to process it, and design super high performant vector databases in rust to search over it. If you like compute, we also own a $5M H200 GPU cluster (and soon 5x’ing that) and regularly spin up batchjobs with tens of thousands of machines.<\/p>\n
We recently raised an $85M Series B from Benchmark, and we are rapidly building the most intelligent search engine in history. We\u2019re high agency, low-ego, and united by the feeling that this is one of the last problems worth getting right.<\/p>\n
Now, we\u2019re looking for an Account Executive to help us bring Exa to new verticals.<\/p>\n
About The Role<\/p>\n
As an Account Executive at Exa, you will work with customers who need speed, intelligence, and accuracy in their workflows. You\u2019ll take full ownership of deals\u2014prospecting, running demos, negotiating, and closing.<\/p>\n

Own the entire sales cycle\u2014from first touch to close
Run product demos tailored to customer asks & unique use cases
Develop and execute strategies to land high-value customers
Work closely with SDRs to keep the pipeline strong and moving
Negotiate contracts, hit targets, and drive revenue growth<\/p>\n

2+ years in a sales role, ideally in SaaS or AI\/tech products
Experience managing a full sales cycle, from lead generation to close
Strong communication skills\u2014you can tell a great story and sell a vision
A consultative approach\u2014help customers see the business value, not just the features
