The Sonnenalp is accepting applications for Seasonal Stewards under the H-2B Temporary Non-Agricultural Worker Program. Act as a lead in the stewarding department, training and coaching other stewards to high levels of performance. Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times. The Kitchen Steward will maintain a proper level of clean inventory with a high standard of cleanliness according to the sanitation code. The Kitchen Steward, upon demonstrated job performance excellence, will be considered for numerous growth opportunities within the culinary field.\u00a0Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleaning supply inventory
Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
Wash and dry dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils
Check all chemical levels and inventory
Dispose of trash & waste in the proper areas
Ensure kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils
Prep food as needed and under the direction of the Sous Chef
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Clean, sanitize and prepare work station for next shift
Control damage and breakage of all equipment
