Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Hospitalist (Days and NOCS available) where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional inpatient care in a Central Valley Acute Hospital where we are large enough to have all the specialties we need, and small enough to know everyone\u2019s name. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of LOCAL healthcare professionals, providing comprehensive patient-centered management. As a Hospitalist, you will be at the forefront of patient-centered care, providing timely assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning to promote optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will help shape the future of hospital medicine in Stockton while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.<\/p>\n
Responsabilidades<\/p>\n
Manage high-quality inpatient medical care in a 200 bed STEMI & Stroke certified receiving center (ADC 100) with numerous specialties including extensive cardiology, Cardio-thoracic, Vascular, Interventional Radiology, Urology, ortho, spine-ortho, GI, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Critical Care, among others.
Manage interesting acute conditions such as sepsis, respiratory distress, cardiac emergencies, infectious diseases, sickle cell crisis, open ICU critical care, DKA, etc.
Work with like-minded exceptional specialists and Emergency Department physicians who have the same goals to take exceptional care of the local community and collaborate with high quality professional physicians to provide the best patient experience.
Work with a family-like team of multi-disciplinary professionals who live and work locally, this hospital has nearly all organic staff and does not use temporary travelers.
Participate in discharge planning by coordinating post-acute care services, outpatient follow-ups, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
Experi\u00eancia
Post-residency experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine with demonstrated inpatient experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Proficiency with EMR such as Cerner or similar platforms used for documentation and order entry.
Experience managing complex cases involving multiple specialties including cardiology, neurology, ID, gastroenterology, and others.
