Operate feed wagons, feed trucks, tractors and other farm equipment to distribute feed and care for cattle during winter. Check cattle, water supplies and herd health; monitor cows and calves during calving and assist with birthing as required. Herd, move, catch, weigh and load cattle using 4-wheelers and other livestock-handling equipment; assist with processing and branding cows and calves. Maintain and repair farm vehicles, machinery and cattle-handling equipment, including general workshop and winter maintenance tasks.
